Wheelchair Accessibility: The Central Zone of Sukhothai Historical Park is largely flat with paved pathways, making it mostly accessible. The Golf Cart option is highly recommended for guests with mobility limitations. Please note that exploring the inner structures of the ruins may involve steps or uneven ancient brick paths.

Dress Code for Sacred Sites

  • We will be visiting active and ancient religious sites. All guests must wear clothing that covers their shoulders and knees (e.g., t-shirts with sleeves, long trousers, or skirts below the knee). Bringing a lightweight scarf or sarong to wrap around yourself is a great option.

Vehicle & Tour Logistics

  • Vehicle Allocation: To provide the most intimate experience, bookings of 1 to 3 guests are serviced by a private A/C sedan, where your expert heritage guide will also act as your driver.
  • Weather: We start early to enjoy the cooler morning temperatures, but the sun can still be strong by late morning. We highly recommend bringing sunglasses, a hat, and applying sunscreen.
  • Insects: Mosquitoes can be present near the ancient ponds. Insect repellent is highly recommended.
  • Pick-up/Drop-off: Included transfers are strictly for hotels located within the Old Town or New Town Sukhothai area.
What to bring
    • Camera or Smartphone: Morning soft light is spectacular. You'll want to capture the memories!
    • Comfortable, Lightweight Clothing: Breathable fabrics are recommended.
    • Temple-Appropriate Attire: As we will be visiting sacred sites, we kindly ask that you dress respectfully. Please ensure your shoulders and knees are covered. A T-shirt and shorts/trousers/skirt that cover the knees are perfect. A light scarf or sarong is also a great option for covering up when needed.
    • Comfortable Walking Shoes: You will be walking around the temple grounds, so we recommend sneakers or comfortable sandals.
    • Insect Repellent: This is highly recommended! Mosquitoes can be active around the sites, especially near the ponds.
    • Sunglasses & Hat: The sun can still be bright when it's getting close to noon.
    • Personal Medication: Please bring any personal medication you may require.
    • A small backpack is perfect for carrying these items. We'll provide drinking water to keep you hydrated.
